The Last First-Kiss ~ Excerpt from SHE BELONGS TO ME:

Jordan has just met Jaynee and he knows she's had a horrible past, but he wants to assure her that he's the one person who'll never hurt her. But how can he convince her that in such a short time? Excerpt: Jordan set his dessert down, sighed, and then gently cupped Jaynee’s face with both hands. She sucked in a mouthful of air as if preparing for impact. What did she think he was going to do? Someone had hurt her badly. He planned to find out, but first he needed to assure her he wasn’t some schmuck who only wanted to take advantage of her. “Jaynee, I don’t know how to say this without scaring the heck out of you, or myself for that matter. But I am not pretending anything. And I am definitely not interested in a one-night stand. I don’t know how this is going to work, but I…all I know is I want—” He pulled her face to his, kissing her softly once, twice, a third. As she parted her lips inviting him in, he kissed her deeper, passionately. They fit toge...

Am I not pretty enough, or do you have a girlfriend?” He huffed lightly, shaking his head at her absurd question. Of course she was pretty and she obviously knew it. He felt no need to confirm her ridiculous question. “I don’t date. And I’m not interested in being used.” She shook her head at him. “I already told ...

What better way to show you  Land of the Noonday Sun   than to share a first kiss… Excerpt:   “It’s beautiful,” she said, glancing around at the scene expanding before her. She could see why he loved the area and had decided to live here. “See out there.” He pointed to the western mountains that were much larger than the one they were sitting. “Those are the Smokies. See the mist. They look as though they’re on fire, don’t they?” She chuckled nervously. “Hence their name.” “Exactly,” he said, laughing quietly, resting his hand over hers. It felt good, too good. “You know, Cassandra, there’s an ancient Indian legend in these mountains.” He stared forward at the valley below. “There was an Indian princess madly in love with a warrior, but her parents were forcing her to marry another to maintain peace between two rival tribes. When her truelove discovered she was marrying another, they decided to run to the highest peak and jump so th...
